Peridot Tote - Dark Green

Our Peridot Tote is beautifully crocheted by hand using 100% cotton yarn. This bag is truly 1 of 1 as the yarn was reclaimed from textiles that may have ended up in landfill. Rather than utilising new cotton, and increasing our environmental footprint, this bag was created to give materials that still had a lot of life in them a second chance. When we source the yarn, we put it through a process of washing, disinfecting and delicate drying to ensure that it is in the best quality to be used again for creating a new piece. The yarn used on this tote is a distressed texture and gives a "lived in" feel adding further character to the tote. This bag is soft and foldable and will not stand on its own.  This bag is large and can be used for many different purposes. It  will continue to develop a subtle "lived in" texture over time. This is a natural patina that adds character and depth to the material. The softening effect reflects the bag's authentic handmade nature and process. The bag will become more uniquely yours with use, developing a surface that tells the story of repeated use.
